Sa configuration est un peu inhabituelle puisque vous serez amen\u00e9(e) \u00e0 vous exprimer \u00e0 l\u2019oral en compagnie d\u2019<strong>un autre candidat <\/strong>et face \u00e0 <strong>deux examinateurs<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Pourquoi deux examinateurs ? Parce que l\u2019un conduit l\u2019entretien et dialogue avec vous pendant que l\u2019autre vous \u00e9coute et prend des notes pour l\u2019\u00e9valuation.<\/p>\n<p>N\u2019ayez crainte, bien que vous soyez deux candidats \u00e0 \u00eatre \u00e9valu\u00e9s sur cette \u00e9preuve, vous aurez, l\u2019un et l\u2019autre, autant d\u2019opportunit\u00e9s de vous exprimer.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 noter : dans le cas d\u2019un nombre de candidats impair, il peut y avoir 3 candidats et le temps de passage est alors de 23 minutes.<\/p>\n<h2>Quelle est la structure du CAE Speaking ?<\/h2>\n<p>Nous allons vous exposer ci-dessous le d\u00e9roulement de l\u2019\u00e9preuve <em>Speaking<\/em> en d\u00e9tail.<\/p>\n<p>Cette \u00e9preuve peut \u00eatre impressionnante, mais si votre niveau d\u2019anglais est bon et que vous prenez le temps de bien respirer, alors vous n\u2019aurez aucun probl\u00e8me \u00e0 la valider. On peut parfois se sentir d\u00e9pass\u00e9 par le stress, mais n\u2019oubliez pas qu\u2019\u00e0 l\u2019oral, le plus important est de prendre du plaisir. Alors, d\u00e9tendez-vous and <em>just speak your heart out<\/em> !<\/p>\n<h3><a id=\"post-13373-_ihlvv2hoijzq\"><\/a>CAE Speaking Part 1 : Interview<\/h3>\n<p>Pour d\u00e9buter l\u2019\u00e9preuve, l\u2019examinateur va vous poser<strong> des questions sur vous<\/strong>, votre parcours, vos \u00e9tudes, vos projets,&#8230; et vous n\u2019aurez pas \u00e0 interagir avec l\u2019autre candidat.<\/p>\n<p>Tout au long de cet oral, l\u2019examinateur prononcera votre nom lorsqu\u2019il s\u2019adressera \u00e0 vous. Par ailleurs, sachez qu\u2019il suit <strong>un script pr\u00e9cis<\/strong> qui assure une fluidit\u00e9 dans le dialogue et une \u00e9galit\u00e9 dans les temps de parole.<\/p>\n<p>Cette premi\u00e8re interaction dure environ deux minutes.<\/p>\n<h3><a id=\"post-13373-_4u6rgqypjlcd\"><\/a>CAE Speaking Part 2 : Long turn<\/h3>\n<p>Dans la deuxi\u00e8me partie de cette \u00e9preuve, on vous demandera de vous exprimer plus amplement et de <strong>partager vos sentiments<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Pour ce faire, vous aurez face \u00e0 vous<strong> trois images<\/strong>. Vous choisirez les deux qui vous inspirent le plus et devrez en parler pendant une minute. Vous devrez les comparer, imaginer pourquoi les personnes sur les photos font ce qu\u2019elles font, comment elles se sentent, en quoi ces activit\u00e9s peuvent leur \u00eatre b\u00e9n\u00e9fiques\u2026 Rassurez-vous, l\u2019examinateur vous posera des questions qui orienteront vos r\u00e9ponses.<\/p>\n<p>Ensuite, l\u2019autre candidat devra r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 une question de l\u2019examinateur concernant vos photos (30 secondes). Et pour terminer, on inversera les r\u00f4les. L\u2019autre candidat devra commenter deux photos et vous devrez r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 une question concernant ces photos.<\/p>\n<p>N.B : Durant cet exercice, vous n\u2019\u00e9changerez pas avec l\u2019autre candidat.<\/p>\n<p>CAE Speaking Part 3 : Collaborative Task<\/p>\n<p>Dans cette troisi\u00e8me partie de l\u2019\u00e9preuve, vous allez <strong>interagir avec l\u2019autre candidat <\/strong>durant deux minutes. L\u2019examinateur vous pr\u00e9sentera un contexte, une situation et vous demandera d\u2019\u00e9changer \u00e0 ce sujet avec l\u2019autre candidat. (Exemples de contextes \u00e0 \u00e9tudier : trouver un emploi, se marier, choisir une universit\u00e9, d\u00e9m\u00e9nager dans un pays \u00e9tranger\u2026). L\u2019id\u00e9e ici est vraiment d\u2019\u00e9changer avec l\u2019autre candidat. Exposez vos id\u00e9es, votre opinion et alimentez la discussion.<\/p>\n<p>Ensuite, l\u2019examinateur vous posera une question qui n\u00e9cessite <strong>une prise de d\u00e9cision<\/strong>. Vous devrez de nouveau \u00e9changer avec l\u2019autre candidat pour arriver \u00e0 une prise de d\u00e9cision commune. Cet \u00e9change durera une minute. Encore une fois, il est important d\u2019interagir avec le candidat, de vous concerter, d\u2019\u00e9mettre des hypoth\u00e8ses et de valider <strong>une r\u00e9ponse commune<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Exemple : \u00ab Now you have about a minute to decide in which situation it is most important to make the right decision \u00bb.<\/p>\n<h3><a id=\"post-13373-_kmzmb7mulo0x\"><\/a>CAE Speaking Part 4 : Discussion<\/h3>\n<p>Cette derni\u00e8re partie de l\u2019examen dure cinq minutes.<\/p>\n<p>C\u2019est un peu la suite de la partie pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente. Ici, il s\u2019agira d\u2019une discussion bas\u00e9e sur le th\u00e8me de l\u2019\u00e9change pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent. L\u2019examinateur vous posera des questions permettant d\u2019\u00e9largir le d\u00e9bat. G\u00e9n\u00e9ralement, les questions sont un peu plus abstraites.<\/p>\n<p>Par exemple : <em>\u00ab Is it best for people to make decisions on their own or to ask others for advice? \u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00ab Some people think it is best to plan their lives carefully ; others prefer to make spontaneous decisions. What is your opinion? (Why? \/ Why not ?) \u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00ab Do you think countries should work together to solve environmental problems? (Why? \/ Why not?)\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201c Do you think that people whose jobs involve making important decisions should be highly paid? (Why? \/ Why not?)\u201d \u2026<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Ce que l\u2019on attend de vous dans cette derni\u00e8re \u00e9tape, c\u2019est de d\u00e9montrer <strong>votre capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 \u00e9changer<\/strong> sur une question donn\u00e9e, <strong>exprimer et justifier votre opinion<\/strong> et enfin, <strong>exprimer un accord ou un d\u00e9saccord avec l\u2019autre candidat<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>CAE Speaking : Exemples d\u2019exercices<\/h2>\n<p>Voici un exemple de question que vous pourriez avoir dans <strong>la partie 1 &#8211; Interview<\/strong> de la section Speaking :<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Examinateur<\/span> : What would be your dream career? \u2026\u2026 (Why?)<\/p>\n<p>Vous : My dream career? Well, I suppose if I could choose to do anything, it would be something related to creative writing. A novelist, or short story writer perhaps. I\u2019ve always been fascinated by the written word; even as a child, I would spend hours with my nose in a book, and my favourite time of day when I was very young was at night, when my father would read to me. I\u2019m not sure whether this is an entirely realistic ambition, though, which is why I\u2019m training to be a teacher, too. My university graduation, for example, was very special to me indeed. I\u2019d just finished studying medicine, and it felt as if the whole world were beneath my feet, and anything at all was possible. However, compared to some of the other choices, I\u2019m not convinced that it\u2019s the most important. Marriage and having kids, too, are an integral part of life- finding someone to spend your life with, and creating the next generation of your family, are some of the most significant things that its possible for us to do in life. Indeed, I\u2019m not sure that my life would be complete if I didn\u2019t get married and have a son or daughter. Buying a house is less important; it\u2019s perfectly possible to lead a good life without buying a house or apartment of your own. It is still desirable, I guess, but not of absolute importance. I think, though, that of all the options, death is probably the most important of all. Life doesn\u2019t really make sense without death, and while horrible and tragic, because\u2026. well, because we know we\u2019re not going to be around forever, it forces us to make the most of the time that we do have. It also compels you to make the most of your family and friends, too, as their deaths are every bit as inevitable as our own. Veillez \u00e0 respecter les temps de parole de l\u2019autre candidat.<\/p>\n<p>Le but n\u2019est pas d\u2019impressionner les examinateurs avec un travail en solo. Comment faire ?<\/p>\n<p>=&gt; Prenez en compte l\u2019avis de l\u2019autre candidat. Int\u00e9ressez-vous (ou faites semblant) et rebondissez sur ce qu\u2019il dit.<\/p>\n<p>=&gt; Demandez-lui son avis, invitez-le \u00e0 s\u2019exprimer\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Placez les petits mots de liaison qui vont bien pour formuler une hypoth\u00e8se, argumenter, laisser la parole, demander l\u2019avis sur\u2026 , faire r\u00e9f\u00e9rence \u00e0 ce qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 dit par l\u2019autre\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Si vous avez besoin de r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir un instant, \u00e9vitez les \u00ab eeeeeee \u00bb, \u00ab bin \u00bb, \u00ab fin \u00bb terriblement franchouillards ! Pr\u00e9f\u00e9rez plut\u00f4t des termes anglais \u00e9quivalents (\u00e0 consommer avec mod\u00e9ration toutefois): \u00ab Well \u00bb, \u00ab Let me think \u00bb, \u00ab As I said \u00bb \u00ab There are no easy answers to this problem\u00bb\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Et rassurez-vous :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Il n\u2019y a pas de bonne ou de mauvaise r\u00e9ponse.<\/li>\n<li>Si vous n\u2019arrivez pas \u00e0 trouver un accord, il n\u2019y a pas p\u00e9ril en la demeure. Les examinateurs \u00e9valuent la qualit\u00e9 des interactions et de l\u2019\u00e9change. Ils ont bien conscience de la difficult\u00e9 \u00e0 arriver \u00e0 se mettre d\u2019accord avec un inconnu (et avec vous-m\u00eame !) en si peu de temps.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><a id=\"post-13373-_70z1dni7lsxo\"><\/a>Partie 4<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>D\u00e9veloppez<\/li>\n<li>D\u00e9veloppez<\/li>\n<li>D\u00e9veloppez<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Ne r\u00e9pondez pas par \u00ab oui \u00bb ou par \u00ab non \u00bb. Faites des r\u00e9ponses \u00e9labor\u00e9es et argument\u00e9es.
