mon\u00f3logos<\/strong> en todo tipo de situaciones, tanto de la vida cotidiana como en contextos acad\u00e9micos.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/global-exam.com\/blog\/es\/toefl-itp-reading-estructura-y-ejemplo-de-examen\/\">Estructura y expresi\u00f3n escrita<\/a>, que determina la capacidad del alumno para <strong>emplear el lenguaje y las estructuras adecuadas en textos variados<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Comprensi\u00f3n lectora, cuyo objetivo es determinar la capacidad del candidato para <strong>entender texto<\/strong>s en la secci\u00f3n Writing?<\/h2>\n<p>En la secci\u00f3n Writing (estructura y expresi\u00f3n escrita) que es la segunda secci\u00f3n del TOEFL ITP, encontrar\u00e1s frases cortas (de entre 10 y 20 palabras) sobre numerosos temas, como arte, historia, literatura, cultura o ciencia.<\/p>\n<p>En el <strong>nivel 1 (de intermedio a avanzado<\/strong>), la secci\u00f3n Writing contiene <strong>40 preguntas de opci\u00f3n m\u00faltiple<\/strong> y dispondr\u00e1s de <strong>25 minutos<\/strong> para responder. Esta secci\u00f3n se califica seg\u00fan una escala de 31 a 68.<\/p>\n<p>En el <strong>nivel 2 (de inicial alto a intermedio)<\/strong>, solo encontrar\u00e1s <strong>25 preguntas de opci\u00f3n m\u00faltiple<\/strong>, con una duraci\u00f3n de <strong>17 minutos<\/strong>. La puntuaci\u00f3n m\u00ednima es 20 y la m\u00e1xima 50.<\/p>\n<p>Esta es la secci\u00f3n de menor duraci\u00f3n de la prueba, pero no te preocupes: las preguntas son muy cortas y una vez familiarizado\/a con el formato, podr\u00e1s organizarte y tendr\u00e1s tiempo suficiente. Veamos en qu\u00e9 consisten.<\/p>\n<h3>Parte A<\/h3>\n<p>En esta parte, encontrar\u00e1s <strong>preguntas de estructura<\/strong>. Consisten en frases incompletas en la que tendr\u00e1s que rellenar los huecos con la opci\u00f3n adecuada (A, B, C o D). Solo UNA de las opciones es correcta.<\/p>\n<p>Aqu\u00ed tienes un ejemplo:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Learning a foreign language __________ long-term memory.<br \/>\nA) improves<br \/>\nB) to improve<br \/>\nC) improving<br \/>\nD) is improved<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>En este caso, \u201clearning a foreign language\u201d es el sujeto, as\u00ed que necesitamos un verbo conjugado en la tercera persona del singular para que la frase tenga sentido. Por tanto, A es la respuesta correcta.<\/p>\n<h3>Parte B<\/h3>\n<p>Esta parte de la prueba contiene <strong>preguntas de expresi\u00f3n<\/strong>. Cada pregunta contiene CUATRO palabras o grupos de palabras subrayados, marcados como A, B, C y D. Solo UNO de ellos es incorrecto y deber\u00eda modificarse, as\u00ed que la tarea aqu\u00ed consiste en encontrar ese elemento.<\/p>\n<p>Veamos un ejemplo:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Roald Dahl wrote a (A) <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">series of short stories<\/span> (B) <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">characterized by<\/span> (C) <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">unexpectedly turns<\/span> and (D) <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">ironic endings<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Lo correcto ser\u00eda \u201cRoald Dahl wrote a series of short stories characterized by unexpected turns and ironic endings\u201d, ya que necesitamos un adjetivo (\u201cunexpected\u201d) en lugar del adverbio \u201cunexpectedly\u201d.
