Su contenido incluye \u00e1reas como historia, arte, cultura, ciencia o literatura.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Si tu examen consta de 3 pasajes, tendr\u00e1s 54 minutos en total para leerlos y contestar a las preguntas, pero si recibes un examen con 4 pasajes, entonces dispondr\u00e1s de 72 minutos, por lo que tendr\u00e1s tiempo suficiente para completarlo.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Tipos de preguntas del Reading TOEFL iBT<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Para cada texto, tendr\u00e1s que contestar a unas <\/span><b>9 o 10 preguntas<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, todas ellas de <\/span><b>opci\u00f3n m\u00faltiple<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (A, B, C o D). Las preguntas son variadas y normalmente consisten en elegir la opci\u00f3n que mejor describa o resuma una parte del texto o en encontrar un sin\u00f3nimo para una palabra o frase concreta. Pasa a la siguiente e<strong> intenta responder a todas y al final vuelve a revisarlas si tienes tiempo.<\/strong> Y, por supuesto, presta especial atenci\u00f3n a las preguntas que punt\u00faan doble.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Ejemplos del TOEFL iBT Reading<\/h2>\n<p>Prepararse para una prueba as\u00ed requiere que, aparte de tener los conocimientos adecuados sobre la materia que se estudia, se realicen <strong>ejercicios dise\u00f1ados espec\u00edficamente<\/strong> para este test. Es decir, hay que tener en cuenta el tipo de preguntas \u2013 que como ya hemos visto son de opci\u00f3n m\u00faltiple- y el tiempo que tenemos para leer el texto y contestar a las preguntas.<\/p>\n<p>Cuantas m\u00e1s actividades realicemos en este sentido mejor realizaremos el examen. Vamos a ver algunos ejemplos m\u00e1s:<\/p>\n<p><strong>TEXTO<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><em>1. In 1877, on July 4, in order to celebrate the 100thanniversary of America\u2019s independence from England, the French government presented the United States with a colossal statue that has come to be one of the most beloved symbols of America. This statue was meant as a universal symbol of liberty and democracy. The gift was presented in honor of the alliance between France and America during the Revolutionary War. This island is only a few miles away from Manhattan and Ellis Island, the famous island where millions of immigrants arrived on American soil. Si te sientes inseguro en la <strong>gram\u00e1tica<\/strong> del ingl\u00e9s, por ejemplo, deber\u00e1s realizar actividades espec\u00edficas en este \u00e1mbito para mejorar y poder hacer esta prueba de la mejor manera posible.
