Nos plantear\u00e1n una pregunta en la que enuncian dos ideas enfrentadas y <strong>tendremos 45 segundos<\/strong> para argumentar cu\u00e1l es nuestra posici\u00f3n al respecto. Por eso, a continuaci\u00f3n, te ofrecemos dos ejercicios a modo de muestra del Independent Speaking en el que apuntamos tambi\u00e9n una sugerencia para la realizaci\u00f3n de la prueba.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Ejemplo 1<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em>Some people believe that there are benefits to failure. Others believe that failure is a weakness. Which do you believe and why? Use reasons and examples to support your decision.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sugerencia\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I believe that failure is an important step in learning how to truly succeed. If you experience a failure, you can learn from your mistakes and will be better equipped to tackle future difficulties. It may not be easy to recognize the benefits of failure in the moment, but in many cases, you can manage to achieve far greater things if you rise to the challenge and take advantage of the situation. For example, the world-famous author J.K. Rowling was poor and jobless before she became the well-known writer of the Harry Potter series. In the moment, she must have felt lost and helpless, but she used the time without a job to finally pursue her love of writing. The fact that you and I are able to walk now is because we fell down thousands of times when we were young, and we learnt from those failures. That is why I consider the idea that failure is not only the most important factor in success; it is its catalyst.<\/p>\n<p>Someone that has never failed in their professional life, may consider themselves successful, but it is almost certain that they have stuck to what they know all their life, and never grown or been challenged, to me this is the opposite of success, it\u2019s failure at life.<\/p>\n<h2>\u00bfCu\u00e1les son los diferentes tipos de preguntas?<\/h2>\n<p>Como ya hemos explicado, esta primera tarea intenta calificar nuestra forma de argumentar, por eso todas las preguntas que nos realicen intentar\u00e1n enunciarse de forma que podamos dar nuestra opini\u00f3n.<strong> Distintos modelos de preguntas pueden ser:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 What is your favorite _______? Explain why<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Como podemos observar, el <strong>primer ejemplo<\/strong> busca que demos una opini\u00f3n m\u00e1s general y nosotros mismos demos la respuesta, que ser\u00e1 completamente libre. En el segundo tipo de cuestiones lo que debemos hacer es elegir entre <strong>dos opciones,<\/strong> por lo que solo podemos seleccionar una y argumentar correctamente.<\/p>\n<h2>\u00bfC\u00f3mo se calcula la puntuaci\u00f3n de esta parte del Speaking?<\/h2>\n<p>La puntuaci\u00f3n para esta parte de expresi\u00f3n oral la decide un examinador que calcula la calificaci\u00f3n siguiendo una r\u00fabrica en la que deben evaluar los <strong>siguientes apartados<\/strong> desde el 0 (m\u00ednima puntuaci\u00f3n) <strong>hasta el 4<\/strong> (m\u00e1xima):<\/p>\n<h3>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0General Description<\/h3>\n<p>Este apartado se refiere a la <strong>realizaci\u00f3n de la tarea,<\/strong> es decir, a que hablamos del tema propuesto y lo expresamos de manera clara, sin saltarnos ninguna idea. Lo importante aqu\u00ed es no hacer demasiadas pausas y tener un acento comprensible.<\/p>\n<h3>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Language use<\/h3>\n<p>Los calificadores se fijar\u00e1n aqu\u00ed en la correcci\u00f3n gramatical y tambi\u00e9n en el uso que hacemos del vocabulario espec\u00edfico sobre el tema del que estamos hablando. En resumen, aqu\u00ed deberemos<strong> demostrar que sabemos hablar ingl\u00e9s de forma correcta.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Topic development<\/h3>\n<p>Este apartado significa literalmente<strong> \u201cdesarrollo del tema\u201d<\/strong> y evaluar\u00e1 la coherencia de nuestro discurso, es decir, si sabemos enlazar las ideas correctamente y si somos organizados expresando nuestras opiniones.<\/p>\n<p>En total, podremos obtener hasta un <strong>m\u00e1ximo de 16 puntos<\/strong> en esta prueba, teniendo en cuenta que nos eval\u00faan en todos los apartados con la calificaci\u00f3n m\u00e1xima: <strong>un 4<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>Tips para esta parte<\/h2>\n<p>Lo mejor para realizar esta parte del <strong>examen es practicar,<\/strong> ya que debemos expresar nuestra opini\u00f3n y argumentar en poco tiempo, pero no podemos dejar de ser coherentes. Si sigues los siguientes consejos triunfar\u00e1s en el <strong>independent speaking:<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Deja clara cu\u00e1l es tu opini\u00f3n desde el principio<\/h3>\n<p>Como hemos visto a lo largo del art\u00edculo, es importante tomar una decisi\u00f3n desde el principio y <strong>argumentarla<\/strong> hasta el final. Aqu\u00ed no nos piden que hablemos de las <strong>ventajas<\/strong> y <strong>desventajas<\/strong> de un tema en concreto, sino que tomemos partido y lo argumentemos.<\/p>\n<h3>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Da detalles y ejemplos coherentemente<\/h3>\n<p>Como parte de la <strong>argumentaci\u00f3n<\/strong> debemos dar detalles y tambi\u00e9n ejemplificar, sobre todo si decidimos elegir una idea un poco arriesgada. Cualquier respuesta ser\u00e1 correcta, pero solo si sabemos exponerlo.<\/p>\n<h3>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Intenta usar la gram\u00e1tica correctamente<\/h3>\n<p>Como hemos visto en la puntuaci\u00f3n, uno de los \u00edtems de los que nos van a evaluar es la <strong>correcci\u00f3n gramatical<\/strong> y tambi\u00e9n el <strong>vocabulario<\/strong> que usamos, de esta forma, no puedes olvidar que tanto lo que dices como la forma en que lo digas ser\u00e1 calificable.<\/p>\n<h3>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Cuida tu pronunciaci\u00f3n<\/h3>\n<p>La <strong>fluidez<\/strong> y la <strong>pronunciaci\u00f3n<\/strong> tambi\u00e9n son muy importantes para esta prueba porque de esto va a depender un <strong>porcentaje<\/strong> de la <strong>puntuaci\u00f3n<\/strong> y, adem\u00e1s, si cometemos errores en este sentido nuestro discurso puede ser incomprensible.
