Consiste en escuchar y comprender un texto en el que una persona hace una ponencia acad\u00e9mica de <strong>entre 1 y 2 minutos. Tras 30 segundos<\/strong> de preparaci\u00f3n y organizaci\u00f3n de ideas, <strong>debemos expresarnos oralmente y responder a la pregunta que nos formulen,<\/strong> destinada a comunicarnos sobre las ideas principales y los ejemplos que ofrecen en 1 minuto.<\/p>\n<p>Los temas de los que trata la <strong>grabaci\u00f3n<\/strong> pueden ser sobre biolog\u00eda, negocios, aprendizaje o artes e historia. This concept speaks about the potential loss or gain from potential alternatives when one choice or course of action is taken over others. In its simplest form, the opportunity cost is the loss of the benefit that would have been enjoyed had a particular choice not been taken. This feeds back into the concept of scarcity that we discussed in the previous class; the idea that resources such as time or money are finite, and therefore choosing one thing often means not choosing something else.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em>All of you guys are familiar with this concept; it applies to our daily lives as well. She gives two main examples of this. The first one is one which relates to people\u2019s everyday lives, that of watching a movie. The opportunity cost of choosing to watch one movie is that you could have used that time to study, work at a part-time job, or even watched a different movie instead. The other example is one from the world of business; sending an employee to buy office supplies incurs not just the direct cost of the supplies, but also the opportunity cost of the lost time of the employee, and the money paid to him during the time he was performing the task.<\/p>\n<h2>Tips para la parte 4 del Speaking del TOEFL iBT<\/h2>\n<p>Para practicar y preparar la <strong>parte 4 del Speaking del TOEFL iBT<\/strong> te recomendamos que sigas los siguientes consejos, porque si empiezas la pr\u00e1ctica teni\u00e9ndolos en cuenta ser\u00e1 m\u00e1s f\u00e1cil enfrentarse al examen.<\/p>\n<h3>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Toma notas mientras escuchas la grabaci\u00f3n<\/h3>\n<p>Tienes solo <strong>30 segundos<\/strong> para pensar lo que quieres decir y organizarlo. Para aprovechar ese tiempo te recomendamos que tomes notas mientras escuchas el audio porque avanzar\u00e1s mucho trabajo.<\/p>\n<h3>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Organiza tu discurso e intenta que sea coherente y correcto<\/h3>\n<p>La <strong>puntuaci\u00f3n<\/strong> del speaking del TOEFL iBT tiene en cuenta que el discurso siga un orden y tenga sentido y, adem\u00e1s, que sea gramaticalmente correcto. Si preparas algunas de estas expresiones antes de hacer la prueba ser\u00e1 m\u00e1s f\u00e1cil tener fluidez en el discurso.<\/p>\n<p>Tenemos tips especiales para el <a href=\"https:\/\/global-exam.com\/blog\/es\/toefl-ibt-independent-speaking-questions-estructura-y-ejemplo\/\">independent speaking questions<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>\u00bfC\u00f3mo se calcula la puntuaci\u00f3n del Speaking?<\/h2>\n<p>Cada una de las cuatro pruebas del Speaking se <strong>punt\u00faa de 0 a 16 puntos,<\/strong> dependiendo de cuatro criterios: general description (realizaci\u00f3n de la tarea propuesta), delivery (fluidez y pronunciaci\u00f3n), language use (correcci\u00f3n gramatical y uso de vocabulario apropiado) y topic development(organizaci\u00f3n y coherencia en el discurso).<\/p>\n<p>En total, las cuatro pruebas del Speaking pueden <strong>sumar hasta 64 puntos<\/strong>, que se transforman a una <strong>escala de 0-30 puntos<\/strong> que luego se suman a las otras pruebas del TOEFL iBT.
