un tema acad\u00e9mico y demostrar en un mon\u00f3logo de <strong>1 minuto<\/strong> que hemos entendido la idea principal que subyace en ambos documentos.<\/p>\n<p>En primer lugar, leeremos el texto (de aproximadamente 100 palabras) en<strong> 45 segundos.<\/strong> Despu\u00e9s, escucharemos la <strong>grabaci\u00f3n<\/strong> (<strong>1-2 minutos).<\/strong> A partir de estos dos documentos podemos tomar notas para ir organizando el discurso. Antes de hacer nuestro mon\u00f3logo tendremos<strong> 30 segundos<\/strong> para preparar lo que queremos decir. One day, a new store called \u2018Bliss Fashion\u2019 opens across the road. This new store has modern designs and patterns. It soon becomes the most popular fashion outlet in town, attracting women from miles and miles around. Most women from Brenda\u2019s town start to wear clothing from there and wear it at every major social event. At first, Brenda is quite confused as to why \u2018Bliss\u2019 has become so popular, the clothes look plain to her and seem quite overpriced. However, shopping at \u2018Joy\u2019 one day, she realises that the store is half-empty and that stock is piling up. Also, Brenda\u2019s friends, who liked \u2018Joy\u2019 previously, slowly start to switch allegiances to the now more fashionable \u2018Bliss\u2019. Suddenly, Brenda now decides that she too likes the clothes from \u2018Bliss\u2019. They are, in fact, much better than the clothes at \u2018Joy\u2019 fashion. The next day, Brenda goes to a party in a black dress newly purchased from \u2018Bliss\u2019 noticing that all attendees at the party are also wearing the very same dress.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sugerencia:<\/strong> The bandwagon effect is a phenomenon where people adopt a particular belief or product simply because it is generally popular, not on any individual basis. People do this because they consciously desire to fit in with others and therefore assume that if something is popular it must be correct. This effect means that the more popular something is, the more popular it is likely to become in future. To illustrate this, the lecturer discusses the story of a woman named Brenda who shops at a store called \u2018Joy Fashion\u2019. A new store called \u2018Bliss\u2019 opens nearby and it quickly becomes extremely popular with most women in the town buying clothes from there. Las preguntas a las que nos enfrentemos pueden partir de la <strong>descripci\u00f3n de un concepto o de la explicaci\u00f3n del mismo<\/strong>.
