The Diplôme d’Etudes en Langue Française (DELF) is a French language certification intended for all people (except French nationals) who wish to certify their level in French.

Official diplomas, they are issued by the French Ministry of Education through France Éducation international, which is a member of the Association of Language Testing Centres in Europe (ALTE). The tests are designed by France Éducation international.

In Switzerland, six levels are offered from A1 to C2. Level A1.1 is only available for primary school pupils (see DELF Prim).

If you wish to know more about the exam centres for the DELF in Switzerland, we have written articles in this category giving you all the information you need to find centres in Lausanne or Bern.
