Assess your German professional skills

It is a standardized test used by firms in over 80 countries for the evaluation and certification of their employees. It has also been used for recruiting potential employees. The Bright Deutsch evaluates a person’s written and oral comprehension skills over a one hour period. It can be administered easily to a large number of trainees; the certification goes from the A1 level to the C2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The test is graded on a five point scale.

The test has two parts, focusing on listening and speaking skills, respectively. A test candidate has to take a speaking exam and complete a written paper, too. The writing section is grammar oriented. There are 60 questions in each section of the exam (120 questions in total).
