They could relate to a variety of different situations that might occur in a work or social setting. Candidates need to choose from 4 possible answers. For this part you need to choose from 3 possible answers to demonstrate your understanding.
What are the questions like?
An example question for the German listening test might be an audio of someone talking about electrical goods and then you might have three options to choose from such as:

The Bright Deutsch listening test lasts about 30 minutes and there are 60 questions. The reading test runs for the same time and has the same amount of questions. That’s 120 questions in total.
For both the reading and listening sections, answer the multiple-choice questions quickly and move straight onto the next one as you have limited time.
How can I do well during the Bright Deutsch test?
It’s definitely a good idea to sleep well the night before the test so that your brain functions effectively and is ready to answer questions. Whilst you are reading or listening, try and guess what the context is for each question. Is it happening in a shop, at work or maybe at home? Try to listen to and read the key words that help you understand the general meaning of the sentence rather than trying to understand each individual word. This will often be enough information to enable you to choose the correct option.
