Deutsch als Fremdsprache in der Wirtschaft

WiDaF is a test which measures proficiency in business German. Companies use the WiDaF test to measure the effectiveness of training and for the purposes of certification and recruitment. The German-French Chamber of Commerce developed WiDaF in 1996.

The WiDaF is made up of 150 multiple-choice questions that are divided into 2 parts; the exam lasts for approximately three hours, and there are questions related to vocabulary, grammar, reading and listening.

The exam scale ranges from 0-990 points. There are descriptions for your test score that are related to the CEFR levels (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) that provide details of the abilities which are related to each level, from A2 to C2 levels.
