Comment se déroule l’exercice 1 du Writing ?
La première partie de la section Writing porte sur une proposition sous la forme d’une question ou d’une déclaration avec deux idées associées. Vous devrez écrire un essai de 140 à 190 mots en 40 minutes en donnant votre opinion sur la proposition. Vous devez vous aider des 2 idées données et aussi en ajouter une 3ème liée au sujet. Aucune connaissance spécifique n’est nécessaire.
Remarque : Si vous passez l’examen dans un format “papier” vous devrez écrire votre texte sur votre feuille de réponse.

Nous vous recommandons d’effectuer une bonne préparation au Cambridge First afin de maximiser vos chances d’avoir un bon score.
Prenez soin de ne pas faire d’erreur de grammaire ou de ponctuation et d’utiliser une grande variété de vocabulaire.
Sur les 40 minutes que vous avez pour effectuer cette partie, vous pouvez répartir votre temps afin d’améliorer la qualité de votre travail. Voici un exemple d’organisation : 10 minutes pour faire votre plan et organiser vos idées, 25 minutes de rédaction et 5 minutes de relecture.
Si dans votre essai vous allez donner des points positifs et négatifs, faites deux colonnes ” pour et contre ” et listez vos points. Cela vous aidera lorsque vous rédigerez votre texte.

Will Robots and Computers Completely Replace Humans in the Working World?
Nowadays more and more people are talking about the next industrial revolution, saying that many jobs humans are occupying today will disappear in the near future because computers are simply faster and more efficient than we are. While it is true that physical labour and unskilled jobs will probably be less common in the future, and the people doing them now will be replaced by automated computer systems because of their greater power and efficiency, there are certain things that humans can do better than machines. Artistic and creative tasks cannot be performed in the same way by machines. In those kinds of jobs they can only assist humans in their work. What’s more, there are jobs that require human interaction or a human presence because computers are not able to transmit emotion or empathy. The conclusion is that while it is true that our working world will most certainly be transformed in the future, humans will still be able and will still have the need to work in some form or other as machines alone cannot replace us completely in everything we do.
