Listening Comprehension for HSK 2
Structure
- 4 exercises (35 questions).
- 25 minutes to answer the questions, then 3 minutes to write down your answers on the answer sheet.
- Each recording is played twice.
HSK 2 – Listening Comprehension – Exercise 1
Exercise 1 is made up of 10 questions.
For each question, you will hear a simple sentence. A picture will be displayed on your exam sheet. You must state whether what you have heard matches up with the picture.
Example :
You hear: Wǒ jiě jie shì yì míng yī sheng = 我姐姐是一名医生。

HSK 2 – Listening Comprehension – Exercise 2
Exercise 2 is made up of 10 questions.
For each question, you will hear a conversation between a man and woman. They will each say a sentence. 5 pictures will be displayed on your exam sheet. You must indicate which picture matches up with the conversation you have heard.
Example :
You hear:
Nǐ xǐ huan shénme yùndòng?
男:你喜欢什么运动?
Wǒ zuì xǐ huan dǎ lán qiú.
女:我最喜欢打篮球。

There will be 6 pictures, but one will be used as an example for the exercise)
HSK 2 – Listening comprehension – Exercise 3
Exercise 3 is made up of 10 questions.
For each question, you will listen to a conversation between a woman and a man. Each will say a sentence. A third person will then ask a question based on the conversation. You need to state the answer to that question by selecting one of the 3 choices.
Example :
You hear:
Nǐ yǎn jing zěnme zhème hóng ? Méi xiū xi hǎo ?
男:你眼睛怎么这么红?没休息好?
Shì , wǒ zuó tiān gōng zuò dào shí èr diǎn.
女:是,我昨天工作到十二点。
Nǚ de zuótiān wǎnshang zuò shénme le ?
问:女的昨天晚上做什么了?

HSK 2 – Listening Comprehension – Exercise 4
Exercise 4 is made up of 4 questions.
This is the same structure as Exercise 3, except that here the man and woman will say 2 sentences each.
