Reading Comprehension structure for HSK 2
- 4 exercises (25 questions)
- 22 minutes to answer all the questions (you need to write your answers on your answer sheet straight away)
- All the sentences are written in Pinyin and Chinese characters.
HSK 2 – Reading comprehension – Exercise 1
Exercise 1 is made up of 5 questions.
5 sentences and 5 pictures will be displayed on your exam sheet. You need to state which picture matches up with each sentence.
Example :
You read:
Měi ge xīngqīliù, wǒ dōu qù dǎ lánqiú.= 每个星期六,我都去打篮球。
You see (so you select answer D on your answer sheet):
(There will be 6 pictures, but one will be used as an example for the exercise)
HSK 2 – Reading comprehension – Exercise 2
Exercise 2 is made up of 5 questions.
5 fill-in sentences and 5 words will be displayed on your exam sheet. You need to fill in each sentence with a word from 5 choices.

Exercise 3 is made up of 5 questions.
Each question contains 2 sentences. You need to state whether the two sentences have the same meaning.

On your exam sheet, you will find 2 series of 5 sentences each. You need to match them in a logical way.
