HSK 6 – Listening Comprehension

STRUCTURE

  • 3 exercises (50 questions).
  • 35 minutes to answer the questions, then 5 minutes to write down your answers on the answer sheet.
  • Each recording will only be played once.

Tips:

  • The recordings can be quite long. You should focus on the key words (places, action verbs…).
  • If there is a dialogue that you have not understood, do not spend too much time on it, you might lose focus and miss the next one.

HSK 6 – Listening Comprehension – Exercise 1

Exercise 1 is made up of 15 questions.

For each question, you will listen to a recording. You need to state which of the 4 given sentences is the most coherent according to the recording you have just heard.

Example :

You hear:

HSK 6 listening

You see (then you must select answer D on your answer sheet):

HSK 6 listening

Watch out: You need to be able to identify new words, humoristic phrases, Chinese idioms, etc.

HSK 6 – Listening Comprehension – Exercise 2

Exercise 2 is made up of 15 questions.

You will listen to a long interview (5 to 8 sentences said by a man and 5 to 8 sentences said by a woman). After the conversation, you will be asked comprehension questions. You must choose the right answer among 4 choices.

Example :

Finally, you see (then you must select answer B on your answer sheet):

Tip: Most people in interviews are writers, coaches, entrepreneurs, athletes or actors. Work on the corresponding vocabulary!

You will listen to someone reading a text. You will then be asked comprehension questions. For each question, you must choose the right answer among 4 choices.

Tip: The most frequent questions are: What happened? What is the problem? How can the problem be solved? What conclusions can be drawn?
