We will be going over the ways to register for the exam and how GlobalExam can aid you pass the TOEIC Bridge.
To start, you should go to the ETS (Educational Testing Service) webpage for the official list of test centers. ETS calls it the ETS Preferred Network; it’s the list of official test centers around the world that are recognized providers of ETS exams such as the TOEIC Bridge. All you need to do is use the drop down menus to find our country, city and product. The ‘product’ is the test that you want to sit for.
You click on the “Register to a test” button, and this will give you access to all the test session dates that are available in the chosen city. If you cannot locate an ETS Preferred Network office in your country, then you can fill-in the information request form online and ETS will be in touch. Alternatively, you can use traditional mail and send the information form to:

It needs to be stressed that you should only use officially recognized test centers. Test results from a test center that is not part of the ETS system will not be recognized.
What are the fees?
Fees will vary, according to local currency fluctuations and cost of living; however, they should be in a similar range. Using the American price as a base comparison (TOEIC Bridge: Listening and Reading) is helpful as ETS is located in New Jersey and is an American firm. No one should be charging double the fee of another country. For example, you could expect to pay 50USD (45 Euros) in the United States and approximately 5,000Yen in Japan. The exchange rate for Yen to USD is about 110:1. Use a website such as Currency Converter to check if you are not sure about your local test price and the base price in the United States.
Currently, the ETS website references the TOEIC Bridge that assesses Listening and Reading and the newly designed TOEIC Bridge, which assesses Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing. Fees for the new sections of TOEIC Bridge are not clear, so it is important to verify with your local test center what fee is being charged and for which sections of the test.
How to choose a test center?
TOEIC Bridge is held on scheduled dates throughout the year. Choose an official site that is convenient for you to travel to and a date that gives you sufficient time to prepare. Dates may vary somewhat from location to location, so always check with your local test center.
As mentioned above, a new version of TOEIC Bridge exists that evaluates speaking and writing as well. It is important to clarify if a test center offers the version of TOEIC Bridge that you need. Find out which version of the test you need prior to contacting a test center as you do not want to pay or prepare for something that you don’t need.
On Test Day, you must bring the following information and materials with you on the day of the test. There are no exceptions granted if you forget your ID.
Two forms of valid ID with your name, signature and photograph. The ID must be current and cannot be expired. Commonly accepted forms of valid ID include:
- Passport
- Driver’s license
- National ID
Always check with the test center that you will go to confirm what is accepted ID in your country as it may vary somewhat from place to place; a passport is valid everywhere.
You are not allowed to keep your personal items with you during the exam. Items that are prohibited are purses, pocketbooks, backpacks, cell phones, any electronic devices, calculators, recording or photographic equipment and books of any kind.
