In 2010, Charles studied at Sciences-Po in Lille, France and failed his TOEFL exam twice. Result: he missed the opportunity to spend a semester at the London School of Economics and three years later he founded GlobalExam.
Since then, we have worked hard every day to help you achieve your dreams by creating the best language courses.

2014
Having just returned from China, Charles created GlobalExam, a platform for practicing for language certificate exams. We started with 3 preparations for the TOEIC, TOEFL IBT and HSK. The team was small but mighty, the adventure began!
2015
Aurélien and Loïc joined the adventure to advance the growth of the product and implemented the first partnerships with higher education schools. The Mines-Télécom network was the first to open their door to us.
2016
One after the other, new preparation programs started to appear on our platform such as the TOEFL ITP, IELTS, Linguaskill (Bulats), etc. and incidentally the platform started to slowly change its image! We then implemented the V2 and the first business portal for our B2B clients.
2017
We reached our milestone of 100,000 users! We started to work with educational institutes and at this point offered courses for 12 certificates in five languages: English, French, Spanish, German and Chinese of course. There was no going back.
2018
International, here we come! We developed our first partnerships in all four corners of the world. From Taiwan, to Brazil, and passing through Morocco, GlobalExam had never been so Global!
2019
A new symbolic milestone was reached with 500,000 registered users. We were present in 37 countries and had almost the same amount of Global Players by the end of that year. Our office seemed small. It was time to move.
2020
A new decade, a new product: we launched Business English, our solution for developing professional English skills. It is the start of a new chapter for our entire team and we are excited to share it with you.
